I spent Sunday at Northampton Saints Rugby Club for the Valentine's Jewellery fair. It was a bit nerve wracking because I haven't done one for ages! I met some really interesting people, and saw some stunning jewellery, some of which I just had to buy!!
So, this is my stand, I need to work on my display, but this was my low budget stand for the day:
I sold a couple of pieces too which is always a bonus!!
As you've probably guessed I spend a lot of time making jewellery for other people, so for once, instead of showing you new bits i've made I thought i'd take you on a tour of my jewellery box...
This is my jewellery box, I found it in an antiques shop and it was a bargain! It's Victorian, red leather outside and red silk inside. I absolutely love it!
So this is inside and the top layer, you can see i have my beautiful humming bird brooch that my mum bought me for my 18th birthday, the two fox rings I've made, some other rings and earrings and a few bracelets. It's weird that I have so many rings and earrings as I dont tend to wear them very often! But I'm attacted to sparkly pretty things!!
And that is the bottom.
In here I have my ghekko necklace which I bought for a ball last year, it cost me £35 which I thought was pretty good value!
And a bracelet I bought from a company called Pirate Verte - I love the stuff them do on their website, it's all beautiful!
This is mother of pearl and I think a resin heart.
I think that is all for now. I'm off to make some other things now...
I've finally had some time to make some new pieces for my Countryside Collection - and I am really pleased with them! People keep asking me for necklaces to go with the bracelet and earrings, so here we go... here are two to get us started!

I'm going to a jewellery fair on 14th February, so I have started getting my bits ready (brilliant distraction from coursework!!) I just thought I'd show you what I'd been doing, and how I make my display boards. :)
This is a board left over from a Christmas sale, as you can see I've started taking the old decorations off:
Next, I ironed a new pillow case to go on the empty board. Pillow cases are brilliant because you can put pin boards, like the ones I use, inside them!
Then comes the clever bit - I staple the pillow case to the pin board, so that it looks like this:
I then re-used some of the ribbon I took off the original board and stapled it along the bottom of the board on the front:
I then made some heart board pins out of felt, and my finished board looks like this:
I'm so pleased with it! It looks really fun and will be perfect for use on Valentines day!! :)
Primarily I'm a jewellery artist, using fresh water pearls, swarovski crystals and semi precious stones to create one off pieces of beautiful jewellery. As well as this I also make polymer clay models and fabric gifts and homewares.
